Family Support

At Crosslee Community Primary School, we understand that family life can be rewarding, busy, and sometimes challenging. Our aim is to work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. This page brings together key information, guidance, and services available to families in Manchester, including Early Help, wellbeing support, and local organisations who can offer advice.

Early Help in Manchester

Early Help is the support we offer to children and families as soon as challenges begin to emerge. It is designed to provide the right help at the right time, preventing difficulties from escalating.

At Crosslee, our Early Help approach is:

  • Strengths‑based – building on what families do well
  • Collaborative – working together with parents, pupils, and professionals
  • Timely – offering support as soon as needs are identified
  • Child‑centred – ensuring the voice of the child is heard

We follow Manchester’s Early Help Framework, which outlines the pathways, services, and support available across the city. Families can find more information on the Manchester Early Help webpages via the Manchester City Council website.
